Demet Özdemir, who married Oğuzhan Koç, addressed those who were afraid  to express their love for being offended, in an interview with L'officiel magazine: "You cannot save the world like that."

Demet Özdemir, who married Oğuzhan Koç , spoke about love in an interview with L’officiel magazine.

The actress appealed to those who hide their love for fear of being upset:

"Don't hide your feelings for fear of being upset or offended. The love you bury inside you without sharing has no value. You can't save the world like that

Saying that love has now 'turned into a consumable product', Özdemir said: "Nothing we mentioned under the name of consumption contains love and affection. At most, it can be admiration, influence or spending time. Maybe we're out of curiosity. It's gone. Everything is at our fingertips, instantly accessible. And of course, there is the club of those who are afraid of getting hurt. Congratulations to its members. When the feeling of inadequacy is added on top of that, the thing goes away before it can get close to love.”

who is Demet özdemir?

Demet özdemir was born on 26 February 1992 as the youngest of three children. She moved to Istanbul with her mother and siblings after her parents' divorce, when she was seven years old. Her grandmother was the one of Turkish minorities in Bulgaria (a.k.a Bulgarian Turk). She immigrated from Bulgaria to Turkey. Her grandmother and her brother later immigrated to Germany. On 28 August 2022, she married musician and actor Oğuzhan Koç.
