The Turkish press also reported that Ozcan's mother, Kadriye Deniz, did not attend the wedding, which she had opposed from the start.

The Turkish newspaper Sabah reported that the marriage took place on January 20 in secret. It was also learned that the couple prefers Dubai for their honeymoon.
